25 Jan 2019

This week sees the start of Round 4 and teams will start looking at the leaderboard to see what they need to do to get into the illustrious top 4.

Inglewood have a great chance to go top of the table as they play host to the struggling FDMC side, Inglewood lose opener Bailey Wisnewski to rep duty but will still look to set up an opportunity to grab maximum points.

Hawera who are currently on top of the table will know if they are true title contenders this season as they welcome NPMU to The Hub, NPMU have struggled and sit 6th on the table but they will not be wanting to lose anymore ground. Hawera lose Ethan Keller to rep duty, Keller has been rewarded for his efforts so far this season.

Third placed NPOB face Woodleigh who have struggled mightily in the 2 day competition to date, another poor performance will see them facing an uphill battle for finals cricket. Things don't get easier for them this week as they once again lose their top order to rep duty, with opener Jesse Vertongen, top order bat Shaun Sullivan and keeper Phil Barraclough, NPOB will lose 3 to the Taranaki side.

In the final game of the round it is a battle of the middle of the table with Stratford hosting NPBHS at the newly laid Victoria Park wicket, Stratford will be hoping to christen the new pitch with a winning effort and push towards the top of the table.
